In high-voltage applications, static charging points may be located at different positions on the machine. Instead of pulling a separate cable from the generator for each point, a single main line is pulled using a DC Distributor, and the outputs are multiplied at a location close to the charging points.
This device is manufactured as resistive or non-resistive according to need. In resistive models (40 Mohm or 80 Mohm), each output arm has an independent current-limiting feature. In this way, if an arc occurs or excessive current is drawn in one of the lines, the other arms are not affected by this situation, and the system continues its normal operation. With 1x1, 1x2, and 1x4 output options, it adapts to all types of system architectures.
